End of th e Day...

After driving me crazy all day as nobody slept well and we were all off. (maybe that's why they were so messy and had to clean up after everybody, like I was in the mood for that) They made a bed on the toybox

These shoes are Made for Walking

Jonathan loves putting on everybody elses shoes, heck he likes putting on his..
He's got one of my dress shoes and Andrew's sneaker on. I never have the camera near me when he does my high heel shoes...I'm trying though.

Resting

After a crappy nights sleep all I really wanted to do was rest. Jonathan didn't want to take a nap either which made it hard as he was whining and I wasn't in the mood to deal with it but by then it was too late to give him one. I did take them to the other maple farm but forgot to bring a camera

Hanging Outside Again

Baby Cow- Jonathan said over and over but this is as close as he would come this year. The little cow moved and Jonathan wanted to be picked up, not that the cow moved much. I think it was too cold to want to move

Maple Tour

So after the cold hayride we went inside to warm up. First pick is the reverse osmosis machine. It sucks most of the excess water out so they don't have to boil the sap down so long.

Here is were the sap usually comes into, the pipes on the lower left is were you see the sap being sucked in from the trees- not today. All was quiet.

They were still bioling the the sap to make maple sugar. They added a layer from last year, I noticed

Going on a Hayride

I know we look like its above freezing don't we?? Andrew's not zipped up, Jonathan not wanting to wear his hat. Heck I don't even have my hood up. We are a hardy bunch aren't we. Believe me we all were zipped up and hoods on by the end

Maple Weekend

This had to be the coldest mapleweekend I've been to. In fact it was so cold this is the 1st time I've come and they weren't collecting sap that day. Why?? It was only 24 degrees out.. It has to be above freezing!!

Sleep Study

I had Andrew go for a Sleep study for a few reasons but not because he snores. I figure it can't hurt to have one done and have peace of mind. Andrew thought this was great. TV his own bed, mom gets the recliner...
Til he found he would have to look like a robot to sleep

All hooked up....

I didn't sleep sp well as they kept coming in and hooking him back up to something and knowing 5 am would come fast. Not to mention sleeping in a recliner is not my thing. It was cold in there too and needed a few more blankets

Taughannock Falls

It was VERY slippery here and the water was spraying us. We walked back here to see it. Not an easy task with Jonathan whom was cold and didn't care

The Lower Floor

Or as Andrew called it the basement

Jonathan liked this little part as it was only big enough for him to fit in

Inside the Treehouse

It was like 4-5 floors and had a basement! YO could do the stairs or ladder.

It was quite something to be in

Andrew was at the TOTAL top here!
