Spring into Nature at the Iroquios Wild Life Refuge

 We have gone to this for a couple of years now, even before Jonathan was born.  This year was very disappointing.  There wasn't a whole lot here.  This building is usually packed full of things to do.  Don't know if its because the building is expanding or budget cuts or what..... they did enjoy painting and some of the other activities.

Last Day Gymnastics

Finally he settled down and did most of what he was suppose to during class.   He was bored with it but skill wise was great.  Listening and waiting.... not so much.

Spring postponed due to Snow.....

After having very little snow during the winter and a more than warm spring... Here it is the end of April and we have this.. Luckily we didn't have the problems like we had in 2006 with heavy snow and leaves on the trees.   I wish I took my camera to work this morning.  All the bucket trucks for the electric company were parked in Denny's parking lot.  There was about 5-6 of them.

Dennis wanted to go to Tifts Nature Preserve today. I only agreed as the Botanical Gardens was near by as plan B. Today was crappy and supposily it was suppose to stop raining.  It didn't and a nature preserve  on a  cold wet day is not what I call fun. Earth Day celebrations that's why he wanted to go.

I LIKE Carrots

It was nice to see that Jonathan got out of the refridgerator CARROTS and was happily eating them on his own. Glad to see he doesn't take after his father!

Tuesday, wasn't as warm as Monday but it was still nice. I got out his sand box and some new sand to play in.

Warm Monday Morning

Since I don't work Monday mornings  we wandered down to the park to play. Jonathan didn't want to wear short sleeves or shorts but it was definately warm enough too.

There's no dolls at my house.  Niether really showed an interest and why would they. They are boys .   But Jonathan was on Sunday.  I took the picture so daddy could see that he likes dolls.  He was putting her to bed.

Car is going to McDonald's

He was telling me he was going through the Drive Thru at Mc Donald's.  His imagination is growing now.  Now its not just driving the car back and forth, the car is going " places" .  I had pretend McDonald's food from when  Andrew was little. He thought that was the greatest thing and put in his little car.

One of my favorite quotes was last week he told me "I like Rochester, they got LOTS of toys there"

Buffalo Science Museum

I had to go to Buffalo as I left something at work that I needed so we stopped at the Science Museum. Might as well enjoy ourselves there.  Actually I asked Jonathan were he wanted to go and this is were he picked.

 He never gets bored of the big playroom and would spend hours or days there I think going from activity to activity.  Andrew gets a little bored in this room but still enjoys some of the stuff

ECOFEST 2012

 Went to GCC to enjoy some kid friendly events.  It wasn't as good as its been the last few years but still enjoyable.
