More Rides Jonathan's Speed

The Train was a big hit.....again he didn't want to stay seated till it moved and then.....he was as calm as could be and wanted to go again and again! He would stay seated too the next time he got on

Darien Lake Park

So out of the water and on to some rides... This part was hard as Andrew was itching to go on roller coasters and I was trying to find rides Jonathan could go on. The Carousel made a good first choice. Jonathan wasn't sure about it at first till it started to go and then he didn't want to get off...

Jonathan's teeth were chattering and I made him wrap up. Andrew I had to catch to get him to do other stuff

Darien Lake

So I took them to Darien Lake today.....it was not something I intended as Jonathan is really too young but it came to be and we did go. Of course, it goes without saying that they enjoyed the water area!

Busy Jonathan

We went to a few Garage Sales Friday and found a few great toys for Jonathan. I'm especially happy with the lawn mower as he sees us mow and he loves pushing things around! In fact he was wanted to be done with garage sales after that and threw a fit that he had to wait to play with it. He also likes sorting shapes and is pretty good at it. This one should give him a challege

Friday...Last Day Of Vacation Bible School

They "built" a Pyramid coming everyday

They had the room set up like a market place. I was so surprised to how well they decorated for this!

Andrew had a great time at Bible School! I could tell each day I picked him up with all kinds of questions and projects they did. I know he will miss going to it next week but they are doing some great stuff with the parks program

Last of Soccer....

We had the last games of the soccer season. It ended in a tournament playing 3 games .

The Park by the Museum

This was a STEEP slope and he didn't want any help doing it. He has a bagel in his hand

We didn't have enough time for the museum but Andrew likes the park outside of it just as well. Jonathan liked it too as this was his first time at it.

Benches on Parade

When I went to Rochester there has been these cool looking benches all over the city.....We went to Strong Museum more like the park near Strong and there were 3 benches there. 2 outside and one in. So I looked it up on here and click on Benches on Parade. Might be fun seeing how many we can get...

Vacation Bible School

Along with the parks program..I sent him to Bible school at the church near our house so we walk there in the moring. Its a bit more work for me as I have to get him and take him to the park when he's done but he is having a great time there. Jonathan in the first picture waiting for his brother. He was happy listeing to the music and rocking in the chair

Playground ....Delaware Park

Way up top... This was one big slide!!! Brave, fearless like Jonathan went down the big kids slide...just as he got almost to the bottom he flipped over on his head, after that well he wouldn't go down it. Of course can you blame him???

We went to the Rose Garden there. They had a Jazz Festival but we got there a bit too late

And when we got home from the beach I gave both of them a little treat . Actually I was going to share it with Jonathan but not any more. He wanted the WHOLE thing and ate it all up.
