Memorial At Andrew's School

 Memorial Ceremony  at Andrew's new school . This marked 60 years since there was a tragic fire at this school.   Apparently 15 students all in 6 grade died back in 1954.  It happened the last day of March of that year.  I guess after this fire  the state put in all kinds of regulations so this would not happen again.  They moved the memorial to a better location too .  Andrew was interested in this so we went even though we have not been here long, its very interesting to hear about. One of the speakers visited his 6th grade class since that's what grade the kids were in when it happened.

Climbing...

 Good...he can climb all he wants here and not get hurt... have at it little guy. Look how red his face is.  Playing hard

Leaps and Bounces

 Its cold and snowing again outside. They need to get a bit of energy out and play. Took them both to Leaps and Bounces to play.  They both enjoyed themselves

Jonathan's close call

If you read on Facebook that Jonathan acted like Spiderman and knocked over the bookshelf and it was a miracle he didn't get hurt, here's what happened.   I gave Jonathan a few quarters Friday.  He decided to put them in his piggy bank (pictured above)

 The piggy bank was on the middle shelf that looked like this one............ this is Andrew's room.

 Jonathan climbed up on it, tipped it over  on to himself and everything went flying....... these metal frames were dented , glass was broken

The back of the shelves was damaged. Some how Jonathan and the piggy bank  didn't get a scratch.  

 I'm hoping it scared him not to climb again.

Now its sitting on the floor. Jonathan lined it with his stuffed animals.
