Another Day.... More appointments

 

Andrew had the endocrine and nephrologist appointment today.  Just a 6 month check up and all is well.

Seriously... can't you stay out of trouble?

 So after popping wheelies on his bike he switches to his scooter.  The handle bar flies off and hits him in the mouth chipping a tooth.  Really!?! Its his adult tooth... Well at least he didn't knock the whole thing out and they can bond it and make it look good.  Went to the dentist today to make sure that is all he did. Now we have to wait to get it fixed.

 Happy little guy.  I don't mind going to the dentist.  They have fun toys

I have to say, the kids thoroughly enjoyed having the carnival so close this year.  They had money to spend and that they did. A few times Andrew walked down himself or took Jon with him and they both bought stuff with their own money....

Playing in the Statue...

 So here's a statue in Lewiston ... Part of the Underground railroad pointing towards Canada. Bringing Slaves to Freedom. Freedom Trail its called.... Hmmm Isn't that what America is called ? Land of the Free....  Sorry  seems appropriate now a days...

Anyway...The Biggest thing I ever took away in History Class was ...For those whom do not learn about the past, the past will surly repeat itself in the future.
We can't eraser history but learn from it and grow and move on....

Power Visita

Trip to the Power VIsta

 Most of the last couple of times we have been there its been during other events. We went there just to go and play with the new stuff they have there.

When Lake Ontario's water is too high

From what I saw there...it is going down but still its hard not to notice the difference.  I took Alex there around the same time and age Jonathan was .... But you can see a huge difference. Hoping this isn't a permanent change to this beach and time will tell with the water levels.

Carnival at the Church

 The church down the street always has a carnival the last weekend before Labor day... its almost like its a sign summer is coming to a close and school is beginning soon.

Durand Beach

 As we were near the beach , we had to stop. We were greeted by this sign.

 We were shocked just how much of the beach was gone....... this area is were the life guards tent usually was

Fun Times

 They have a baby seal....Very cute!

 When dipping gets out of control.  We taught him to dip his fries and he now likes ketchup more than fries.
