Where they housed the Shuttles.... Been taken over by Spacex and their junk.. LOL
Launch Pad 39A were they launched Spacex Heavy Falcon and most of the Shuttles and the program before that. This was also the launch pad I did the model of... Couldn't it have come with parts to B. Definately not as impressive.

Space Explorers
My mini astronauts
This..... as you can see below was a part of the Challenger. As I said I still remember the names of the Astronauts and the teacher on this mission. There was a remembrance hall for this shuttle and the shuttle Columbia. The date...... Alex's birthday is 30 yrs to the day this happened......

Space Shuttle Atlantis!!!
I don't care if the other kids were impressed.... I was happy as hell. Looking at it its truly remarkable that this thing went to space and back multiple times. Okay I was done. Didn't care if I saw anything else... Okay so there was more really cool stuff to see
Kennedy Space Center
I haven't been to NASA since I was about Andrew's age. I love the space shuttle program and was sad that they retired all the shuttles. I have been wanting to see one of the real shuttles since they retired. Although we live closer to the other 2 (not counting the one in California) and would be able to see those for free. I have no plans to be near the other 2. I wanted to see it. I as a kid put together a modle shuttle and a launch pad. I still remember the names of the astronauts that lost their lives on the Challenger. I was so excited to come again.....
This was the countries that help with the international Space Station
The rocket booster on its side in this picture is from SPACEX and the Heavey Falcon Rocket that they launched only 11 days before and one that returned to earth perfectly. Very impressive!!!
