Let's Have fun

Jon found a friend and palled around with him most of the time. Was able to get some of Alex and Andrew.  

We haven't visited Splash Lagoon in almost exactly 4 yrs!   4 yrs ago Was around the time I found out that my water was leaking with Alex (I was around 17 weeks pregnant). At the time I was frustrated not knowing how it was going to turn out.   They sort of wanted me on bedrest then but with it being so far out from even being viable that they really didn't say too much.  As I figured it.. if it was meant to be it was meant to be and me relaxing at home or at the water park wasn't going to change things.  Obviously he was meant to be

Well he should be in a better mood... Lots of sleep ready to play. Still was apprehensive about doing things but did play. Wouldn't do alot of stuff

Hanging out in the Hotel

I often wonder how long it takes then to figure out the phone is unplugged when we leave the room.  I always unplug then as its the first thing he goes to.  Think because we don't use them anymore. Even in the hotel who uses a telephone?? Only to call the front desk I guess... everything else... that's what cell phones are for.

I thought Alex would love the place more than he did.  He did enjoy some stuff then he got tired and scared.  They had bells when the bucket would drop so he was upset by that and when the waves would come in the wave pool.  He did end up taking a long nap there. Therefore I didn't get a chance to take many of the other kids

Yeah Blood Work!!

Last week I had an apt for Andrew and Alex to go to the lab to get things done.  Andrew had to do a urinalysis and Alex the titer for the pneumovax shot he got in July to see if it was effective.   Of course they tried twice last week and it didn't happen.  Was hard as its not pleasant taking a 3 yr old to get blood work anyway, knowing I had to do it again......UGH!!! So this time I went to the place I know has been successful before and probably should have done it there in the first place. She only does kids and is excellent.  Lesson learned... Alex is a hard stick too. She even had to fish around. He was good though. Little upset but got over it fast. We will see what it comes back with..... So far looks like it might have worked some.... we are easing up on the infections. Nose is still clogged at times.
