Thanksgiving Eve

Wednesday Nights the Science Museum is open late so we took advantage of that.

It just so happened that Andrew had an appointment today and taking him back to school wasn't an option as he was missing an event.  The school wanted him to be there and I told them I would try.  We got there in time for them to start the awards.   Andrew got Most School Spirit!   ( I did know about this in advance Andrew did not although knowing they wanted him to be there he had a feeling)  This award is amazing as it is voted on by his peers!!! This says a lot about the kids in the school.  Andrew is different and despite that and in a world were kids tend to pick on each other and bully each other for less they  respect him and obviously think the world of him. 

More From the Children's Museum

So what makes me laugh is that the first person that they know of that went over Niagara Falls and lived  was a lady by the name of Annie Edson Taylor.   Edson was her maiden name.... you know I had to look that up.   As its 2 of my kids last names.....  

Anyway knowing this it seems like I see her picture and featured more and more. Maybe me noticing it or maybe she's getting more notoriety now. Anyway I don't know if there is a connection or not but it is amusing none the less. They had a book at the museum about her.

Student Council

Jonathan is on Student Council this year. He had to go in front of the Board of education and do a presentation.   Very proud of him.  He's an amazing kid at school. Parent teacher conference went really well too. You do make me crazy and you do make me proud.

Santa Pics.....

Gotta LOVE Cabella's   They have free pics with Santa. They give them a toy...(Alex is holding it) and they have fun activities to do that even Andrew came along.

Play Time!

So they had a stage that they had singers on and all of these things set up.  These rings to swing on that changed colors. See Saws that played music when you went back and forth.  The sign and you could have pictures with Captain America and Spiderman. Santa was there too.
