Happy Halloween

Pandemic trick or treating......

This one was hard... It was a nice day and evening out but I didn't know if anybody would do it.  you know give out candy or people would go trick or treating. Andrew was home he could have passed out candy but I preferred if it was contactless.  The kids wore masks and I wore a mask.  We went to neighbors we know and they gave that bags of candy.  Oh I know you here's a special bag. They wore masks too some had tongs, gloves and other things so they didn't have to touch the candy.... or like us the bowl was already out. There was a few other kids and parents out. Not as many as usual but then we don't have that many anyway.  Its usually just the neighborhood kids.

After I went home with Alex , Andrew wanted to walk around.  Jonathan still wanted to go out so the 2 of them just went around the block. Again we know a good portion of those people too as I have walked it with Alex many times and they all see us.  Jon has a friend over there too.

SO there it is...Pandemic Trick or Treating.

At least this rarity we knew about and very cool.... this is a BLUE moon on Halloween.   That means its the 2nd full moon of the month.

And no I don't know what that blue dot is next to it....probably a plane since I live near an airlport.

Captains Log: Day 228 Drive Thru Halloween

He was Chase from Paw Patrol at school but wanted this costume from last year because he likes to play his Dr Panda video games.  Anyway gave him more assesories with it....  you know mask and thermometer

They had the trucks out.....

We went to this last year.  Its usually a parade around the block followed by cider and donuts and they get a little bag of candy and they have games and prizes... Not quite the same

So since didn't take much time we visited some cool decorated houses.

Okay the pictures below are of the SAME  HOUSE.    We got out and looked around like everybody else there.... There were quite a few people.

Captains Log: Day 227 Galleria of Treats

I was severely underwelmed by this.   This one I did pay.   It was a drive thru to get treats but....  This was the extent of it. There were 2 police cars that were decorated too.   Alex got more candy last night from the drive thru Fire Dept  than this and they had more to look at.... Anyway... 

So after we did go into the mall.  There are a few movies that are actually playing and alot that are old. I was hoping you could read them but can't. Monsters inc being one of the old.  Tenent being new.

They love FYE....

 

Drive Thru Trick or Treats

Jon had Virtual Soccer and didn't come with us.  We went through a drive thru trick or Treat thing with the Fire dept.  They gave him a HUGE bag of Candy. No many pics as we were in and out and didn't get out

This  was one of the other schools doing a Halloween Show that we went through as I saw it on the way to the other one.

I tried a different costume on him. He wore this one last year but seem appropriate this year with the added mask that we have to wear anyway.
