Captains Log: Day 441 Memorial Day

Memorial Day... It was cold so we had stuffed shells instead of a cook out.  

Didn't stop Jon from going in the pool.

We stopped and saw the musical see saws again.

Little by little things are getting back to normal. They had the Memorial day parade and events are starting to come back.   Life is getting back to more normal.

Gordie Harpers Bizarre ... Had to stop there as I wanted a  hoodie....

Wearing the hoodie as its cold today.... 

Had to take a picture of this... Where are we in this pandemic???  From having a hard time to get a vaccinations to  now bribing people.   Why?? Because the former President says it did n't exsist.... fabulous....

Unmasked.....   We went to Reid's and I ordered food at the counter... NO MASK for the 1st time in a year. a social setting near other people whom also wear not wearing masks either. What a freaky weird feeling. As it was weird for us to wear masks last year at this time as we went back in society it is the oposite now.  

 

Captains Log: Day 438 Science Museum

its been awhile since we went to the Science Museum.   I think I have only used my membership twice in the last yesr. Alex remembers the Mummy exhibit and was hoping to see that again. I did go after they switched to the guitars. Last was in November Maybe???

He has been here in the past enough that he couldn't understand why things were different.  Like we still can't go on the first floor and he remembers that and a few other things you can't do.  its the one place we have been alot before the pandemic and does remember life before the pandemic.    The masks are a part of life for the last year so it doens't occur to him that it was different.   However this triggered it.

He had an appointment at the clinic to check to see how his SMO's are doing and  he was doing good.  

This is what he picked  (NYC) Looks weird and not like that at all on his braces.

They have new stuff going on at the Waterfront.  This is at Wilkeson Pointe and they have the musical See saws that were in Niagara Falls Winter Fest in 2019.   Not like we could go to it last year and its only 41 degrees out but still probably 20 drees warmer than when we went to Canada.

So we were the only crazies out here and we didn't stay long.
