 When we went through the first lock Jonathan was a little scared. He knew how much wason the other side of the gate but then he was fine  and loved watching everything.

 So since there was no boats coming to got through the locks we headed to the tour boats  not really intending to go on but there was a tour and it was leaving soon and Jonathan wanted to do it. So we did.

Lockport Locks

Honestly, I didn't have anything planned for the day , thought about a few things and out of the blue thought about going here. Andrew wanted to do Lockport caves. Not wanting to do more caves this weekend we checked out the locks.  Jonathan likes playing with the demo's of the locks at the zoo and science center. Figured he should see how the real thing works.

 So after the race we went to the  very empty science museum as opposed to the zoo as it would be only $2 to get in. We have a membership to the zoo so I didn't want to be there when its packed.   Air conditioning felt good!

 Both Kids got to participate in a race today. Jonathan likes to run so I thought this would be a great thing for him to do and Andrew it would be good for anyway.  Exercising before the big race

Waterpark

 So after last  weekend  where  it was so cold that we had to put the heat on,  this Friday was steaming HOT and we are sweating like pigs.   Where else to go to cool down but the waterpark.  Yes I know there are only pics of Jonathan playing. Andrew was with a group playing in the gym and going swimming at the Y so he was having fun too.  Our Bipolar weather continues!
