Playgrounds and Sunset

I always make sure they are wearing a mask on the playground. I can't control what the others parents and kids do but I can with my own.  The amount of kids I see without masks is apalling and knowing they start school next week...... UGH

Watching the sunset.....  no matter what this crazy world throws at us we still have nature. They sun rise and the sunsets and a moment to feel normal enjoying beauty

Golden Mummies at the Science Museum

I'm not a big fan of doing anything indoors but the Science Museum is so limited and they are offering the exhibit to Museum Members which is good since My renewed membership  took effect March and I haven't been able to use it at all.    Even though its "Open" its not open.... They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Only the 2nd floor is open.  And well that's it.  Even everything on the 2nd floor isn't open totally either.  They gave you styluses to touch things

Captains Log: Day 172 Anxiety........

So I get a robo call from school and them talking about having the kids do a health screening and taking their temperature  before they get to school or bus...  I laugh as the top picture is a "toy" that I bought last year around Christmas.  It a scan thermometer not really a toy. Toy to me.... I like thermometers

I didn't buy it thinking it would ever be a necessity or a tool I would have to use almost daily. Jokes on me.

Anyway I listened to their reopening plan and cringe.  The whole thing is giving me anxiety.... Can't imagine these kids.

Anyway went to Conventus and had Alex's feet checked.  All good. They had cool machines that looked like Ipads that you looked at and it took you temperature.

Captains Log: Day 171 Life is a Beach

So we stopped at Mc Donald's on the way home as I didn't want to cook.   The drive thru was packed so I went inside.  They only did take out only. Couldn't sit inside. Not that I wanted to I was just getting food anyway.  I wasn't going to post these but its reality during the plague. As much as you want to live a normal life and forget about it...you can't.  NO matter how hard you try. Although time does make it easier and you get use to doing things a different way .

Captains Log: day 170 Still Living the Plague Life.....

Look... hanes is making underwear for your face....    Can never have too many masks... not with kids. Jon said he likes these.  How long before these disappear when he goes back to school
The entire front page of the Buffalo News is still about the virus and the effects of it

We went to Wilkeson Pointe and walked around.   Jon wore a mask but we were the only ones there as it was raining when we went..  He really didn't need one. He just wanted to test out the new masks...

 Flu Shot:

Figured they are better of getting it before they enter school again and who knows it this will be a shortage down the road knowing we got the Corona Virus going on.  Jon's seat was still down so he was sitting in the back.

Captains Log: Day 169

So I didn't take them on an adventure as I usually do and I'm not the only one selling a house at this time. My neighbors across from us are selling the family home that happens to be up the street.  So I said I would help. Actually they asked to use my van and we came and helped anyway.  They took some stuff to storage

Alex then got usse to the idea that we were helping out and they gave him a little drum set

Andrew can officially vote. He got his voter card in the mail
