Buffalo Zoo

Along with the Science Museum... we also went to the Zoo..... It was a beautiful day to go...

As you can see we are back to wearing masks more and more... sigh.. This is life during plague times.  Fall is coming and things are looking dismal again...

 

Buffalo Science Museum

There was a few things different here.... They completely redid the bottom floor of the science museum which I didn't expect since it didn't seem that long that they did that one in the 1st place but it was very cool to see. 

We did get to play on the observation deck as that's usually not open when we are there.

 

Busy Day

He's ready for Kindergarten!!!   We dropped off his supplies for school and got to meet his teacher in person.  

Where he will be sitting. Yes they have to be wearing masks in the classroom this year.

Jonathan had football practice 

And had to do stuff for Andrew to start college.

 

Buffalo Niagara Heritage Museum

Trying to get a little last bit of fun in.....  We went here as you know history and well I guess its not as bad as last year but it still is not right... I mean 2021 in general and even going here.  It wasn't quite as pitiful.   Most of the houses you couldn't even look inside  well that all you can do.  Look inside.   We didn't have to wear a mask outside but for picture sake  we did as well   we are still living the plague life.  Inside the building they want you to.  Still the fun exhibits were you get to touch things are off limits. 

So with this what has changed in a year... almost nothing.

You will start to notice more and more that we are back to wearing masks again.   

remember the chart of the spanish flu it going up again..... And there we are....

Its fall we are going back inside and this nasty little virus seems to like indoors. Not to mention people are stupid and don't want to get vaxed and call people that do sheeples... 

Maybe if those sheeples actually took a microbiology class and didn't watch Fox news and believe it  like it was the gospel  maybe we would be done with this....

 

Busy Day part 3- Soccer

Today was kind of basically the last day of soccer.   they did a parent/ kids game and gave awards and snacks at the end.    It of course is Alex's favorite day as he's so proud to get a metal at the end. He however is not a big fan of soccer.   Please don't sign me up for more he said after.   Sometimes you like it, sometimes you don't. Think we will do swimming with him in the fall.   He seems to love that. Jon loves soccer but he is also playing football this fall and will not being doing soccer because of it.   Honestly I don't know how they are going to do anyway.  Last year it was virtual.    It was okay during  like now when he could take it outside but after.... it sucked anyway. 

 

Busy Day Part 2-School

So the next few hours were Jonathan.   He had football practice. It was cooler and more comfortable today.      After we went home for a few minutes and then had Meet and Greet at the school.  He got his schedule and locker assignment.   Outside of 1 time a week ago this really has been the first time I have been in the school since COVID.   Just maybe we will have a some what "normal" school year.  

Probably with masks on but at least in person 5 days a week.... 

(Schools we are required to wear masks-again side note for reference in the fututre) 

 

Busy Day-Bills Training Camp

So we went to Bills Training Camp and met up with Kelly. Its nice to be able to go to training camp again and to go to the stadium.   You are suppose to wear a mask when you are indoors at the stadium.... nobody enforces it.   I did when I got food.  I made Alex wear it as he's not vaccinated yet.   

(this is for reference in the future when I look back and wonder why we wore it sometimes and other times we didn't. It's pretty confusing as it is..so...)
