Outer Harbor

The sun was shining so we went down to the OuterHarbor. However it was anything but warm there.... 

Despite Jon taking off his jacket because he loves the cold.

 Gas prices through the roof.... This is the cheapest at 3.89 and its like a fire sale there. The one near this was 4.29.   I got gas at 4.16 the other day....  Sigh...  These last 2 years have been just full of historical events...

Monday.....

Andrew going to class and over at the Y.... It was a long day and I was tired and didn't really want to go.  Alex talked me into going.  Jon stayed home as he was busy this weekend. Andrew still has to wear a mask on campus so far.

 

Sunday

We did get a chance to go to the playground on a nice winter day and enjoy it

Jon had a party at the school for after their last performance of Mama Mia.

Feel like I'm going back to the prepandemic days.   Florida and the school's musical.   Its a weird feeling.  We are here in March again rounding that curve and coming up on 2 yrs.  We are back doing everything we did before it.  Almost like being scared that the rug will be wipped out from under us again.   At this time we feel like we have a good handle on it.  Whether we actually do remains to be seen.    In other news, you try to pretend Russia isn't trying to start WW3 and gas prices are making you cry.

 

Busy Day

I was one of those days that was a reminder that we are not over the pandemic.  Jon had an appointment and of course you had to get your temperture taken and wear a mask.   Andrew had an appointment too and it was virtual.  Neither of which I took pictures while doing but its life and it will be.  

Day 2 no masks.   Alex still panics getting on the bus thinking he needs a mask as its hard to switch back to not wearing one.

Things I find in Jonathan's room.   I would have been flaunting that if I even got one in school.   He could care less.   The comments below...WOW!!! He's in accelerated math as it is.  So for him to be very high achieving in accelerated math... amzing!!!

Instead of getting games for his occulus he wanted more stuff for his computer and it came today...

Alex's 1st day mask free of school!!!

Almost 2 years since this thing began...

It feels like the pandemic is over. No masks in school and all is good right??? 

Wrong. 

Andrew still has to wear a mask at college. Doctors and Dentist appointments still a mask.

And the rest of the world.... 

Some times you go to get you humor with pasta...

Why are we still living in NY??   (hint:I would go insane with the traffic down there.)
