In the News......

Jonathan Edson, 14 months, of Batavia plays with the Florida piece of the giant United States puzzle Saturday at ECO-Fest. The map was brought by the NY Geographic Alliance, whose aim is to help children learn the geography of the country. (Mark Gutman/Daily News)

The Daily News go there and click on Ecofest...there are more pics of him in the photo gallery

Jonathan was in the news paper today!!! Yeah! Andrew was a little bent out of shape about this but knows he's been in it many times. Really its not that easy to be in the paper. It does help I know both photographers and both of them are hams.

Swimming

Yesterday we went swimming too at the Y but not this one. I like this one as below you can see Jonathan standing up. This one has zeron entry which means he can walk in himself and there are shallow parts were he can walk around without me holding him up. This saves alot of fighting as he likes to do things on his own. Andrew was disappointed as they didn't open the water slide (blue thing on the left) as he was looking forward to going down it.

Climbing!!

Time for a little rock wall climbing! Although Andrew did well at this he was hindered by his fear of heights. This from the kid that goes on the roof of his huge slide in the back yard. Oh well, he had fun!

Healthy Kids at the YMCA!

If that wasn't enough excitement we went to the Y for a day of play. I got to drop Jonathan off to play in the infant room (someone was watching him) and see Andrew having fun bouncing!!

The Map

I know I got one of the 2 of them on it last year....and they both had fun playing with it this year.

The little ham...... He was showing off rolling around and laughing with all of the states!! The guy from the newspaper was taking pictures of him so he might be in the paper instead of Andrew...now there's a change!!!

The Sand and Water Table...

There's no water yet as its still early to be playing outside with water yet.....the sand might not last that long with Jonathan playing in it and mostly dumping it on himself

I really haven't had it set up in a while as I thought Andrew was getting to the point he didn't care...but with a buddy its all fun again
