Full Bloom this time. We went earlier and they weren't really open.... now totally full bloom

Another HOT and HUMID day.... it was 87 with what felt like 90% humidity. So we stopped and got wet. Jonathan was miserable because 10 am is early for him and he needed more sleep.   He slept in the car in the shade.

 

The Beach

It was a perfect day for the beach.   The weather was hot but the breeze was cool and the water was beautiful.    There were tons of waves to jump like we were at the ocean.   But its still fresh water.

 So the orangutan's made me laugh as this one reminded me of Alex.   He had about 7- 10 blankets and was making a nest out of them.  There was another one that was way up high watching the action from below. I told Jonatan that would be you.  There was another one wrapped in a blanket snoozing ...told Andrew that was him.

So we are still living our best life during covid... Every place is different.  No masks needed here but indoor stuff was out...   Train wasn't working so no train and the indoor kiddie stuff was gone.  If we didn't know what we were missing before COVID its not a big deal.

So I thought this was another one of those.... because of COVID moments and it is to an extent....  The sign said drive thru only as they were having a labor shortage. ?!?    Any way got food and wen into Preques Island to eat

Back to Soccer

its been a little Bit with not going to soccer. Wasn't my plan but with Alex having a cold and wheezing when it was hot and humid ..we choose swimning. Then last week we didn't with the funeral and rainy weather.

We have a New Governor.   Not happy about this situation and that things are so topsy turvy.   CUomo was a good governor and did great duringthe pandemic and  well......  they screwed him.   Not saying everything he did was right as being a women I try to want to give them the bennifit of the doubt but the press and his own party did him in more than anything. I mean we are living in a time that the Republicans are still saying it was a bunch of enthusiastic tourists that visited the Capitol Jan 6 and  mums the word on Trump and his rape aligations and same with Gaetz. But our Governor gets thrown out lack of better terms mostly being "Creepy"   Maybe a few feels and kisses.  Really.... He's a politican.... they do that.  Not sure as I like Kathy Hochul but the jury is still out on that one.

With the humidity still being high and the local pools being closed time for Darien Lake as they are still open.
