Sometimes you have to look at pictures to see how far you have come with this. The first picture was about a week after his first casting came off.(3 weeks old) Even though they said it was mild, I could tell that more intervention was needed. He curled his feet right back to the position they were when he was born.
This was yesterday. Been reluctant to have them on during the day but with the temperatures going up and it being warm along with him getting new braces this coming week so he will have more movement I'm letting him be bootie free during the days. We still like our snuggie at night. With free time from the booties during the day I do make sure that his feet are stretched a lot through out the day. Personally I think that helps more than the booties at this point as he really isn't in the right angle anyway. i make sure those tendons and ligaments are loose and his feet can still be stretched to the right position. Doctor told me this was the best to have them stretched all day long. This helps determine whether he will have to have surgery. He's says its normal that they might tighten up the more he grows anyway so the doctor is keeping a close eye on him. Really looking forward to see how he does when he can have 2 feet on the ground
