No we didn't go on the Maid of the Mist. We grabbed some ponchos so they wouldn't get wet going up the side of the falls but it was pretty dry today.

 The leaves where beautiful and surprisingly they were still running the Maid of the Mist. THe observation deck was free as it was off season and there wasn't too many people....
