Captains Log: Day 265 Cave of the Winds

So I took today off as Chandra was suppose to come down with Landen and do something for his birthday.   Emily usually has a party for Sophie and Max but didn't want too many people there because of COVID and these plans were made before most of Erie County is in the Orange Zone.   So Chandra decided not to come down and we thought about getting Landen but there is not much for us to do.  Erie County is generally closed and what's not you really don't want to be in anyway...like the Mall.  Niagara County is still fine so we are doing Cave of the Winds .   Usaully Niagara Falls is alot  of fun this time of year with Jingle falls and the Giant Gingerbread house. But nothing this year.... 

I guess for as much as we miss stuff.  we do manage to do stuff during this time.

I think about the Christmas movies and mostly the Grinch or even some that go the year without Santa or something t othat affect.  Again when you are living through the plague it seems to heighten the discord  going on now. 

I guess with pictures I can show you we can  manage very well during the plague.   What I can't is amount of work and planning that goes into most of this.  You have to look up the hours its open, if its open at all this week, if you have to get timed tickets in advance and think of what time you are going to be there and any other requirements that they have listed.  And of course masks.
