This week last year we didn't know was going to be the the last normal week we would have in a long time.
I was showing Andrew the blog and Day 1of Captains log.... Honestly it is very interesting. From the shut down to reopening to the new normal. I wish I took more pictures in the store those 1st few weeks. But at the time I was scared of cross contaminating it with getting groceries in a world that didn't have enough lysol wipes and other cleaning products. How empty the shelves were and that 1st grocery trip after shut down...Cheese balls and strawberry pop. We weren't required to have masks on and we didn't have any at the time.
I wish I wrote down what was closing at that time as it came fast and furious. From school closing to every nonessential business being shut down... restraunts, libraries, museums, manufaturing, movie theaters, gyms,etc... all that was left was hospitals, pharmacies, any store that sold food, gas stations, and appliance stores basically.... They might have been able to do drive thru restraurants too.
I tried to stay positive finding the good in a world that was making it very hard and didn't know how hard it was going to get.
We have come along ways since last year but have so much more to go. Movie theather still aren't open, theather still can't go to Sporting events at 10% capacity. Any event/museum has to be preplanned with a times ticket. At least we do have sports this year...
Anyway Sunday.....
