Ironicly last year this was the last place you wanted to be so what a difference a year makes.......you can look up videos of the song Sound of Silence by Disturbed 2020 edition for what this place looked like last year at this time and the summer didn't get any better..... However it is 2021 and it time for fun...
So this is NYC Pandemic style.
Why I choose to go here.....
1) Hotel was reasonably priced for the city
2) Everything was open that I wanted to see
3) It was less crowded than it usually is.
4) they are still disinfecting Subway cars.
With this place being the Epicenter of the pandemic people are very good about wearing masks and keeping clean. We mostly brought food back to the hotel and ate it on the top floor. There was indoor and outdoor dining. Some of the outdoor dinning was pretty cool. The one by our hotel they had a trolley for outdoor dinning. The great thing about the roof top dinning was because they weren't doing the bar up there most of the time no one was up there...so it was like our own personal oasis.
