This is were I parked for the hotel...... There was the distance to the stadium. The Pirates were playing in the stadium at this time. The game started at 12:35. We didn't get to Pittsburgh till 1 pm it was also 90 degrees out. Andrew was a bit disappointed. Wish this game was later..... However about 15 minutes after this pic there was a rain delay ( thunder , lightning etc...)and the game didn't get done till like 6 pm. After we did walk over to the stadium and took a bunch of pictures and walked over the 6th St bridge. They were having live music going on and we walked to Point State Park. That's were the fountain was.
Its the first live music I have seen since the pandemic. Also not going to lie.... The pandemic is still a pain at times. Some places you still have to make advance reservations and other places you don't some places you have to were masks still like public transportation and most other places you don't. Hotel pool was fine but breakfast was still modified by having to go to the front desk to get it and not have everything out to grab. So we are living in this dual world.... It does play into some of the modifications we did.
