600 Days of dealing with the plague...
Some days we take 2 steps forward and others 3 steps back.
At this point the kids still wear masks in School and even college and even vaccinated. School is full time in person and (knock on wood) we have had no problems.
Alex is not vaccinated but will be shortly as it was just approved. At this point he has been COVID tested the most and 2 within the last month
Jonathan has been vaccinated since June and had at least 1 COVID test
Andrew has been vaccinated since April and never been COVID tested.
I have been vaccinated by January, Have been COVID tested 3 times and also had a booster shot in October.
(All our COVID tests have been negative.)
Grandma and Grandpa had their boosters last weekend and are going to Hawaii tomorrow. They have not been out of the state since the end of February 2020. They are finding things difficult to navagate as its not just getting tickets and going any more. Each state can have different travel restrictions that have to be followed and filled out electronically.
We are in such a different place than last year November. Last year we were going for another shut down. We did take advantage before it did and went to the Botanical Gardens, Aquarium, Explore and More and a few other places during the week since school was so broken up. It was then I had to do alot of this electronic making arrangements. Some part of me misses that time and yet part of me never wants to go through this again.
At lease this year events are back. Not to the extent they were before but they are at least having more
Slowly things are sort of returning.
Its been an interesting 600 days.
Just because its fun to compare...... COVID Chart......
