Monday Snow...

Alex's special day... he got picked today to have a get to know you.   He was so happy.and got to pick a prize too.

We went to the YMCA.  Alex goes why don't I have the tag anymore.   They usu to put on a wrist band when you dropped him off at the Child watch and it had to match yours.   Things changed honey.   Why?   he still didn't understand.   Because the world changed with the pandemic. you know the germy?  He still didn't get why no tag was related to the pandemic or a germy but I'm sure he doesn't get why other stuff changed too. 

The YMCA is a skelton of what it once was.  He won't understand before that the place was extremely busy and that is how they had to keep tracked of  all the kids. They they all just didn't go into one room.  That the place was full with activities you could sign up for and they have scaled way back on everything.  Probably they also don't have the staff or with the virus are allowed that many people in any of the classes.

This just doesn't go for the the Y but every place we have gone or stuff that we went to do.

For example. The Niagara Falls Culinary Institure usually builds a huge ginger bread house and has lots of festivities going on.  This year they are doing some and NO gingerbread house.  At least they are having something.. I guess.

We no longer just keep masks in the car. I keep a pile in the house.  we need them for school, healthcare, public transportation and some of the museums, you have to others are fine without them.
