New Years Eve

Happy New Years!!!!! 2020!!!

Party in the Plaza

Buffalo Getting ready for the ball drop.....

Ice Skating!!!!

So proud of this little guy!!! Its been a YEAR since I last took him ice skating.  We had one of these things to help him skate and I literally had to drape him over it to skate with him.   He kept up when you pushed him for the most part.  He did slip a few  but really not much.  And even better he went around the rink many times.  Considering how big this ice surface is I was very happy  with how he did.  Andrew loves skating and Jon can skate although he did like using the skate assist too as he could go faster.

New Years Eve

I asked them what they wanted to do the last day of 2019..... Choices included going to First Night Niagara Falls. Downtown Buffalo skating and a few other things... they wanted to go skating.   So I figured Rotary Rink and its down were the ball is dropped so perfect to get some pics too. Thing is its been warm and well some reason that rink didn't fair well during that time.   Canalside was rocking the other day with it being warm.  It was NOT warm tonight.....   32 degrees.. wind chill 20....  So we took the trolley to  Canalside

Canalside

I didn't feel much like ice skating but kind of did.   I just didn't have the energy to help Alex I guess is the better way to put it.  I thought going down to Canalside and doing the bumper cars and walking around would be good.  As you can see the place was PACKED!!! It was good to see so many people enjoying the ice. However there was a 3 hour wait for the ice bumper cars and well  NO I wasn't going to wait. So we walked around Canalside and the Waterfront.

Sensational Fun

This is a place especially for kids with disabilities mostly sensory, ADHD or Autism  and they were having free open play.  Wish they had this when Andrew was young. Now he doesn't care. He has been down here a few times with groups when he was younger. Well what about these 2???   Jon I'm sure has some sensory although never bad enough that it was diagnosed but he was very quirky.   Alex gets OT for sensory and not lack of skills.   So technically they belong .   Anyway they both loved it and were tired after.....

Waiting.....

We stopped at McDonald's on the way home as he was hungry and tired. Yesterday wore him out and I think he just wanted to relax.    They gave me a big Mac that I didn't order and wouldn't you know he ate the entire thing!!

Our Lady of Victory Basilica

We stop at the church as they have a museum to honor Father Baker.  Its interesting and the Basilica is very pretty too.  They are always having mass when we go so I don't take pictures of the inside of the church but it is beautiful.

Billy Beez

I didn't let them stay on their tablets and we did something today..  I guess I wanted to tire them out without me being even more exhausted then I was .... Both of them played hard.
