Monday

Finally is was warming up a little today.   Morning was still cold.

In the evening we went to Canalside as they had had a Party for the Bills.I knew the snow sculpture would still be there so we checked it out.  Alex thought that was really cool.

It was maybe a balmy 32 degress but after the last week..... It was warm to us.

I could finally give him a bath.  The pipes froze this weekend.  Most of the stuff we have been able to work around but he likes his bath very cool and that is hard to do.  

 

Quiet Evening

Its cold and we didn't want to go anywhere.  We just releaxed at home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX

Wow!!! 6 already!!! He was so excited about his birthday!! I probably did go overboard with the balloons but you know... you don't turn 6 everyday.  He absolutely loved it! Was like Christmas waking up to your own special display and presents. 

He got a hat at school and passed out goody bags to his classmates  (we can't do cupcakes... pandemic rule)

He got to pick where he wanted to eat and what he wanted to do.   He choose Build a Bear and made Lillian , his new bears name, I guess boy bear needed a friend.   He wanted Mc Donald's for supper.

And we had CAKE!

 

Boring Evening....

When you know you have a busy week coming up. Really didn't even feel like doing this but its good for me and Alex loves playing at the Y.

Last night that he is 5 years old.   He's so excited tomorrow is his birthday

 

Sledding

All it seems to do lately is snow so ........

We got to make the most of it and sledding it is....

 

Snow and More Snow

Its been a few years since we had one of those winters were it just keeps snowing day after day like a broken record so I know we were way over due for this winter and knowing December was nice.... you knew that wouldn't last.  Guess whose on top of the Golden Snow Globe Contest.... You guessed it... us.

Nothing but snow and ice....
