Captains Log: Day 137 Life is a Beach

I really didn't want to go far... Just somewhere to have fun and of course it was the beach again. Andrew and Jon were there but Andrew went for a walk and Jon was in the water the entire time.

Andrew tells me that some of the NBA  and NHL players are Vloging there experience and I said that was good.  They need to when things aren't normal and they are forced into this bubble to play sports.   (vloging is like this but only with videos instead.)  I said that's why I have been documenting everyday... so you can go back and see it.   What we went through, how we dealt with it. That inbetween the horrible news and the new procedures to do anything and the anxiety of what was to come ...we lived.   How did we live?   What did we do?  How did this affect us?   What did it change??   The biggest thing I don't put in here and it a big portion of what's going on is the news and politics. Its in here in small bit not porportion to what's going on.   That will be in the history books and how that will play out.  Some I do.  Remember during most of this time there was no sports, no new movies, even the talk shows and such were all from home.  There was very little high profile entertainment.   There was mainly the news that didn't distract us.

But through this all we dealt with it the best way we could....

As safetly but still living life...

Captains Log: Day 133 Keeping Cool

Its been hot. Real Hot..... And the big problem is is that we usually have the community pool to go to.  Nothing this year.   The neighbors have been nice and we have swam there and  grandparents pool and up to Ft Niagara.  There's a few splash pads around. Most of this is not close to us. We are getting by and making the most of it.

Covid has changed our lifes .  Today I got a 38 page report on how the schools are going to open....
I skimmed through it.... Mostly sanitizing and so forth with out a specific plan.  Jon is probably loving what the new year will bring with school.   I don't know anybody that would feel  bad missing  part of their 6th grade year.   I hated that year.  It got better with time but kids are brutal at that age....
So I don't know what to get school wise other than masks and hand sanitizer... that's if they go to school at all..

So as the summer goes....Let the kids be kids as much as they can during this time.
