HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019

This one didn't make it till the New Year  but the others did.   They were busy eating all the snacks in sight.

Ice Skating

So after a nap we went ice Skating as they were having a New Years party at the skating rink.  I put Alex on skates.   By this age Andrew and Jonathan had been on the ice. Time for Alex to see some ice time.   It was a bit hard on me as when he got mad he kicks his feet... On skates you fall down.

By the end I could get him around with this contraption but my back that wasn't feeling great didn't feel much better after either.

Balloon Drop!

What fun it was to play with all the BALLOONS!!!!

Playing

Enjoying themselves...... There was plenty to do. I guess they had activities in the gym too but they wanted nothing to do with that

I did get Alex to color and they also had Elsa and Anna there from Frozen.

New Years Eve

So I saw Explore and More was having there own count down on News Years. Perfect for a almost 3 yr old.   I really didn't feel like going to First Night at the Convention Center.   Way too many people , finding parking and so forth.  This is much more low key and perfect.
They barricaded the back and had the balolons set up

Balloons!!!

They are pink and with Minnie on them.He loved them.  Not sure why he likes pink  but that color and orange are his favorites.   He's starting to know the rest of the colors but if he's not interested he didn't care for the longest time

Birthday Party

It was a birthday party for Ryan's little girl Charlotte.   She loves Mickey/Minnie  like Alex.

 Alex collected all the balloons

Last of the Home Services.

Today was OT 's last day.  In fact this was the last one.  He had PT Wednesday and Speech yesterday.... Next week on to preschool. It will be better.  Most of the services at home couldn't do what they really need to be doing for him.   He is getting OT for sensory and most of what she's been doing with him is fine motor skills and not sensory as she's limited to what she can bring.   PT is the same way.   Speech he's doing very well at.  Now if you listen to him when he's playing he will say sentences as he's playing.  So I know they will have it easy to be honest.  He is a very anxious kid and very intense.   The in-tenseness is good and bad. With the same intensity he loves and snuggles as when he's mad and when he's upset... his fiery personality comes out.  He's very stubborn and that intensity shows there too.  Hopefully maturity will help regulate those emotions  but keeping the good snugly ones around.
