Jon had a baseball game in the morning.... 

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's

I wanted to walk around the Erie Basin Marina but Alex argued with me there was only a trolly in Buffalo not a Subway.   So we took him and showed him were it went underground.

Got a wet vac and Jonathan liked cleaning with it.... good deal LOL

 

Niagara Falls/ Whirlpool State Park

We went to Niagara Falls State Park looking for the Tulips to be in bloom but they weren't sowe went to Goat island and walked around then grabbed some supper before heading to Whirlpool State park.   I love this park. Love the views.   

You can see the aerocar across the way and Jonathan said he would go on it.  It's usually him that says no.....   

I love looking at the Cave of the Winds now... Its open but not quite totally built.   Every year they have to replace it and build it again over the winter with it totally done by May...

 

Chalk

I didn't take many pics. I wasn't in the mood.  Both Jon and I got a good dose of what reality is with social media.  Him not behaving on it and not being able to monitor what he's doing on it.  So I found myself talking to the Principal over things Jon has posted online and that he got smacked in the face for.

He was embarassed and has no social media right now.  

Ironically I cleaned his room and that thought entered my mind.  I was in middle school once and I know that they right letters and messages to each other.  (pre technology)  now its all online foe the world to see and its on there forever...     Lesson learned.

Let it Snow... Let it Snow....

Woke up to snow this morning..... sigh,

Its so depressing when you see snowand it's the end of April like we will never see the likes of warmth again.  

My poor flowers....

So guess what we did today??  This time stayed home.   No Y. Just wanted to stay warm.

Boring Day

With Jon at Baseball and Andrew at college, we ran around alot and did get some exercise in.  It was cold out today.

 

Burchfield Penney Park

Took advantage of the warm April day and went to the park till the skies turned black and stormed.

It went form 77 drees to 51 in a matter of a half hour.  Oh well it was beautiful while it lasted.  Got beautiful pics of the dafodils completely in bloom.

 

Cherry Blossoms

It's cherry blossom time again and on this beautiful I think most of Buffalo came out to see them.  it was packed but it was nice to see that the parks are used and everybody enjoying the nice weather

Delaware Park and the rose garden. Ok... not so rosey right now but lots of dafodils.

 

Outer Harbor State Park

To be honest ... the whole outer harbor is one of my favorite places to go in Buffalo.  There are 4-5 distinct parks with diferent activities to do.  The plaground Outer harbor state park), the beach (Gallagher), the bike park (Lakeside),  the more artsy park (wilkeson pointe), Tift nature preserve and the lighthouse. We usually end up with the one with the playground but we walked over to Gallagher beach/Pier since its near by.
