Buffalo Bisons Game

Because I got passes to Fantasy Island ,they had a  week you could get to see a free baseball game and this is the week.  Of course the weather sucks and everyday is the same just some days its raining .....   At least it wasn't tonight and it was a double header. We didn't stay for the other game and with double headers they only play till inning 7...Yeah me!!  It was mostly empty there so Alex ran and ran.

Almost Done!

Alex kept saying look at the sun!!  I think tonight they were having a preview for it.  I know that the tickets were expensive like $75 and other stuff . Soon it will be open

After Naps

 Happy Meal Avenger masks
So we went to McDonalds that had a play place just to do something..... Most everything was done at this point and couldn't play outside.... so he we are....

Activities

Even this was a bit to ambitious for us today. Both were miserable when we left.   Alex needed a nap and well so did Jon.... He did more crying and arguing than Alex.  I guess 2 science museums were a bit much.

Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA

There was plenty of stuff to do today but most of it was outside and I wasn't going to do anything that involved any length of time outside.   It snowed this morning and it was rather windy. Its the end of April I'm looking for warmer temps......  So we did the healthy kids day at the Y.

More from the Science Museum

Andrew enjoys this science Museum as it does have a bunch of history in it too.  they go in depth about the underground railroad and the the areas in Rochester that  were part of it and were they hid.  Andrew spent most of his time here. They also have alot on the American Indians too.

Little Construction Worker

He was so cute here and I was so glad it was not busy.  He was so busy working hard. He loved the crane and getting dressed up . When it was time to go he put his stuff back.

Rochester Science Museum

Since we got to the one in Syracuse early , we stayed there 2 hours and there was alot of kids there from elementary schools there so it got very loud. I had enough there and I could tell Alex was done.  It was about noon so we left Syracuse and headed home.  We were getting hungry and though  we would stop in Rochester and why not stop at that Science Museum too.   Rochester's isn't that open or ever that noisy.  Alex had a nap and some food and was happier there.   There was barely anybody there and the ones that were were  nice too.  Much better fit.

More From the Museum

Toothpick version of Notre Dame .
In the Fish Tank
This was cute. They both dressed up and danced to the music.
Having some quiet time with a book

MOST in Syracuse (Museum of Science and Technology)

I thought Alex would love this place but he really didn't.  Some of the air cannons were too loud for his liking and it scared him.  Its mostly dark in there and that scared him and when it got crowded the whole area was more than he could handle.   Not to mention there was some rather nasty kids that parents obviously didn't care about anything.  They picked on Alex and when I had enough I told them to knock it off and then the parents finally showed up and told me that they could only discipline their kids and I asked if they were going to do it?   They didn't as they felt their little snowflakes were in the right to knock down Alex  and tell him he was not allowed in a toddler area and tell him he was nothing but a baby and couldn't play there.  (mind you they were 5-6 years old in a TODDLER area!!!)  Now this is were it gets interesting.  Alex takes no crap and got mad and threw a block... however it hit another child (not the 2 brats).  I took him out and told him it was not alright to throw blocks even if they were being mean to him.  He had a melt down.  Remember he has 2 older brothers that pick on him..... he's not going to take it.  I let the other kids crappy behavior go confronting the parents whom told me that they were paying attention to their little snowflakes and that their little snowflakes wouldn't say such things.  I told them that I didn't see them around and that if they were paying attention that they would KNOW what they were doing. And there you go..... were bullying begins and reinforced....   But hey I don't live in Syracuse and their school system.  Good luck....
