Thursday had to go to Children's Hospital to get an Ultrasound done on his backside. When he was born they also found a sacral dimple. When I first went to change him I looked and thought what is this. ...It looks like another hole back there. They told me what it was and said they would ultrasound it to make sure it was nothing. They failed to mention that there's a correlation between clubbed feet and Spina Bifida and that a sacral dimple could be spina bifida or a very mild case of it. However with that being said there are more sinister symptoms to the dimple that make it worrisome. If there's hair, farther up and can't see the bottom of it. None of these apply to Mr. Alex. He's been tested and ultrasound so many times I'm not worried at all.
