Captains Log: Day 730 2 Years Later

Where it began

 I never imagined that life would be turned upside down from a virus when 2020 began.  It's one of those things that with technology and science and other stuff they could nip it in the bud way before it becomes a global disaster and the stuff that they used centurie(s) ago is the onlything that can slow it down and yet here we were no knowing the journey it would take us on.

2 year later and were are we at.....

Since the begining of March it finally feels like we have a good handle of it. Cases are going down and the masks mandates are off.  

At this point probably about 75% of people I know have had the Covid virus  However not in my inner circle. (me, kids and parents). Almost all of them  that I have known with no lasting side effects or worse.   

Gone are the days were everything is shut down and we have to mask up with even in school now no masks

But is lingers.....Like any aftermath 

We are still using mask on public transportation, airplanes, trains etc...

at doctors offices, dental offices, hospitals

We still have social distancing signs,  the plexiglass by the registers, signs on the floor.

Its still weird feeling walking into a few places without a mask.

It no longer dominates the news. Somethng I didn't thing would happen even 2 months ago.

But then there are other thing dominating the news....  My heart goes out to Ukraine.
