I usually during the summer try to take them to the zoo and beach in Rochester and in Erie for a day trip. It is not easy because you have to preplan. You have to get timed tickets to go in instead of show up. Mask are required the entire time in there and you have to follow the path. Things are closed like the stream they like to play in to stay cool, the interactive exhibits that are inside and the tunnels for the kids. When you do go into the 2 builds that are open they count how many go in. This is now "normal" life. Going to Pennsylvania is out at this time.
I like the Seneca Park Zoo better in many ways but this was the reason we went. They have 2 Snowy owls. A favorite of Alex's. He was so excited to see them....
