its been almost 2 years since they have had a snowday..... since the pandemic started this is their first one and for argument sake they know that they don't really need to do snow days anymore. They can go remote on a dime at this point. For everybody growing up here we always looked forward to snow days. Glad they are letting them have this. Its been a rough 2 years and one day to have back the innocence that we had before the pandemic happened is nice. (Last Snow day we had was Feb 28, 2020)
Not to say it was any easier on parents when they have all this energy and want to be out here constantly.
We got A LOT of snow!! I thik we totaled 18" by days end. I was ticked when I woke up and we had maybe an 1" Stupid weather people and over zelous schools.... Well that all changed at 7 am.... and it snowed and snowed and snowed. around 3 we made a break for it and went down to the sledding hill along with tons of other people to enjoy some sledding. Alex whined most of the time but whined more when we left. He was getting tired of climbing back up the hill and by the end he was just tired.
They still don't have the warming room open there. I was looking forward to enjoying that this year but since we aren't in a good place covid wise...
