After I posted about him needing his tonsils and adenoids out I took his temp. The temporal thermometer came back with 104.4 at one point. Its temperamental and I don't trust it, So I did a rectal and it was 103.8 . His breathing was a bit high too. I did call the on call nurse whom told me to take him in. I gave him some Tylenol and an hour later some Motrin. His temp went down. I was tired and didn't want to wait there for them to say it w as viral...
He gave me a little smile and fell back to sleep after his fever went down.
