Captains Log: Day 275 Remote learning

Yes he had remote learning and this is how I find him..... Its SSR... I don't see any reading going on.... So he's pretending he's asleep as if that's an improvement.

Alex you can see wasn't into his either....

So we went to the mall briefly. There's not much else to do and we didn't stay long . Get some pictures and walk......    It still looks festive.

Yes this is pretty much true... we can't have indoor dining in WNY  only outdoor.  Its December in Buffalo.  We aren't doing outdoor dining...

This is Billy Bees....
Five Guys is pretty much take out... remember no indoor dining...

The food court

 The movie theaters.....

It has now been 9 months (exactly) since I have been taking pictures everyday during this pandemic....
9 months .......

Its sort of fun to see what we have done and seen day by day through this and as things changed and evolved and how this year developed and what we went through and after 9 months what normal is to us right now:

2020 NORMAL

Normal is wearing a mask when you go out of the house: to stores, malls, outings anywhere you will see people.

Normal is not going to events , concerts, theaters, sporting events.

Normal is empty stadiums and that Hockey and Basketball are not being played at this time (yes I do mean December)

Normal is buying timed tickets in advance if you want to go to places like a museum or zoo. And checking to see if they are open anyway.

Normal is not finding everything you want on the shelves at grocery stores or any other store for that matter.

Normal is take out because indoor dining is hard if they have it at all.

Normal is hybrid learning and telehealth, school shut downs and Covid testing

Normal is not being able to throw parties  and hang with lots of family.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just some of what we have gotten use to this year... are we use to it... at this time yes. Do we like it... NO

So when I say I want Better Days... its pretty much much what we had before but didn't know how lucky we were to be able to do all of this.
